E_7174_HOST is caused due to hosts file is missing inside of Windows files.


Create "hosts" file

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

Navigate to the folder location above, then inside of this folder you must create a file called hosts (With no file extension) For the most simple way to do this, head to your desktop folder.

Enabling file extensions

Inside your Desktop Folder, Enable "Show File name extensions"

Create a new blank file

Right click inside your desktop folder, and click "New" -> Text Document

Once created the text document, select it and click F2 (or right click -> rename) and set the name to hosts, you must delete the .txt end. Your file should look like this below.

Drag to Etc Folder

Once created open a new file explorer and drag your hosts file in to C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc

❌
